As it stands now, the price is very reasonable for what the app offers. Think of this as more of a free trial to see if you like the app. (Guess we all have different reasons for learning a second language?) Con: you will have to pay if you really want to use this to supplement language learning (but at least it's not as expensive as Rosetta Stone!). The topics are fairly standard, with the exception of "Military Commands", "Military Intelligence" and "Military Peace Keeping". This has a wider selection of languages than Duolingo, a good recording function, and large vocab list.

For anyone who can't be bothered downloading it, it looks like this and there are six different games you can play to learn vocab - Phrase Practice, Easy Game, Speaking Game, Hard Game, Memory Game, and Recall Game.Īs stated above, you get five topics free. I like the app interface and the recording feature but I hesitate to pay for language learning subscriptions since I tend to neglect study (Duolingo owl says hello).
